Glad you made it here, I don't want to buy much of your time. Let me hit the nail on the head. Before you get this free of gift of God there are some steps you need to take. With these simple steps align below, I am certain that the gift is yours. You can not succeed with this steps if you don't back it up with DETERMINATION. God will never force anybody to come to Him, He wants you come willingly and that is why you need to be determined and the grace of God will take you over. Below are the steps you need take:
- ACCEPT THE FACT THAT YOU'RE A SINNER: Many people don't buy the fact that they are a sinner but the bible says that “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God… Romans 6: 23. If you don't admit yourself as a sinner, you're in a far distance from being saved and you're equally sending back the message to God “I have not sinned and their is no need for me to be washed when i've already taken my bath. In fact, your strategy of sending Jesus to die for me is futile.” Romans 3: 10 says “As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one;” not even the Pope JohnPaul II, not even the bishop nor the arch bishop nor the priest standing before you in the place of worship, nobody is acceptable, not even the writer of this article nor the reader is acceptable to God. I John 1; 8ff crowned it all by saying “If we say that we have no sin, we decieve ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”. In short, I want you to acknowledge the fact that you're a sinner and you will be near the Saviour.
- CONFESS ALL YOUR SINS AND FORSAKE THEM: The word SIN as short you see it is a deadly act that cause the destruction of many souls today. It is SIN that bring seperation between man and God and build a barrier against interaction between man and God. What is SIN? I John 5: 17 says "All unrighteousness is sin..." and it continues in James 4: 17 that "Therefore to him that knoweth how to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin." Read more about sin HERE. Now that you've know what sin is, take the time to find a quiet place and seek the face of God. Confess all your sins before Him, be specific by mentioning them either aldultery, fornication or whatever it may be just as the spirit brings it to your remembrance. Also, show sorrow you have for the sins that you cannot remember having in mind that "If thou wilt return oh Israel, saith the Lord return unto me and if thou put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove." Jeremiah 4: 1, "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." Acts 3; 19, "And the times of this ignorance God winked at, but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent". Acts 17: 30 and "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper, but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy". Proverb 28: 13. With the full assurance that when you come "...boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrew 4: 16, turn up all of your sins to allow mercy to speak for you. Remember, you don't want to be destroyed, that is why you need to confess them all.
- ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOUR: Now that your heart is emptied, free from condemnation, filthiness, worldliness and guilt, the greatest step for you to take now is to accept Jesus Christ into your life, believe in Him that He is your Saviour, invite Him to your heart. "When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. And when it cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worst than the first." Matthew 11: 24-26. This show the urgency that you need to call Jesus into your heart as soon as you've clean it up. Any delay in doing this will cost you more than your living asset. When you've emptied your heart before Him, then you will feel that peace that cannot be explained "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." II Corinthians 5: 17. Acts 3: 19. I congratulate you for obtain the salvation, now you're a certified child of God.
